HOUSE OF THE UNINVITED
Luxury Paris Squat
A secret world hidden in plain sight— A former one-star hotel in one of Paris’s most luxurious districts, the 15th arrondissement, sandwiched in between posh clothing shops on 31 Rue du Commerce, is a community of young, stylish musicians and artists who quietly built a bohemian community inside a building they were never meant to inhabit.
Behind locked doors and scavenged comforts, one building became home while the other transformed into ateliers—raw studios filled with music, sculpture, fashion, tattoo parlors, and art in constant creation.
Survival was part necessity, part art form: from borrowed electricity to bottles of stolen fine wine, resourcefulness became ritual.
But affordability is everything, for 50 euros a month each, they get their own room with a key, shared wifi, a communal hot water shower, kitchen where late-night meals, shoplifted wine, and conversations flow.
House of the Uninvited honors the beauty, rebellion, and fragile dignity of a self-made creative ecosystem living on the edge of legality, luxury, and youth.
